Hiking Dundee Falls

My brother came from Louisiana for a weekend visit after a 4-day business trip, and being a part of this family means that you were raised with a love and need for the outdoors, so he needed his “fix”. We live in Northeast Ohio where there is a beautiful State Park that few people are aware of called Dundee Falls.

On a crisp, but sunny, Saturday morning we headed over for the hike through the woods to see the Big Falls and the Little Falls. Beautiful as always, we hiked for 5 hours total, and were tired (in a good way), feeling peaceful, and refreshed at the end of the day.

I hope you enjoy this small pictorial tour.

Looking down on the little Falls – those rocks are 3ft-5ft Boulders. A person can stand with 6 feet of head room in the cave underneath.

Spray-painting graffiti in a place like this is very upsetting. Someone else used sidewalk chalk, which will wash off in the next rain, a much more acceptable practice if you must leave your mark.

What’s in your Closet? Some of my favorite Camo and Animal Prints

In my closet it’s my collection of Camo and Animal Prints. Mossy Oak Breakup in Pink and White, Naked North Snow and Naked North Pink, Mossy Oak Duck Blind, King’s Desert Shadow, Backland West, Realtree AP, Advantage Max 1, Realtree AP Blaze, Realtree AP Snow, True Timber Snow, True Timber Pink, the list is as long as my Face Book Friends list. And, just like my Friends list is always expanding, so is my collection of camo. The newest colors are as gorgeous as the snow on a quiet and untouched winter morning, and the autumn  leaves at the peak of Fall in the northeast.

The range of colors and patterns of Animal Prints are just as vast as that of camo, and they are beautiful, as all nature lovers will admit. Pink, purple, leopard, zebra, cheetah, Python and Rattlesnake, the list is infinite, and is only limited by the imagination.
